Dr. King’s links to Charleston are more than folklore. During his 1967 speech at Charleston County Hall on King Street he was quoted saying, “I come here not as an outsider but as an insider with real associations and connections in the state of South Carolina and in Charleston.”

If I told you that getting a hairstyle is about a lot more than losing a bit of unnecessary hair, because it involves self-expression, self- esteem, and even a sense of social identity, I probably wouldn’t be telling you anything new.

You Bet ‘N Me ‘N Me ‘N You

“You bet ’n me ’n me ’n you” is a sculpture put together by five conNECKtedTOO artists and apprentices: Markelle Evans, Timothy Hunter, Morgan Kinne, Jean-Marie Mauclet, Gwylene Gallimard. Its original purpose was to be the set for a video piece which will eventually lead into the intricate stream of the conNECKtedTOO app to be launched in late November. 

Interactive Tour/Performance

June 6th, 2019 is a day I believe will be imprinted on the minds of many for a long time. On this day ideas were exchanged between persons that might not have intentionally crossed paths before, relationships were created, voices were heard, stories were shared, commonalities made, unique differences respected; Art united many during our Spoleto Interactive Tour/Performance.

TWO diaries to expose and nurture a network of TINY businesses, to show the beauty and challenges of the past, today and a future. Jean-Marie Mauclet and Kit Loney are both visual artists and educators at heart. They know how to listen, look, read, challenge and fabricate.
