SOCAP 2020 Notes & Reflections

With great thanks to Alternate ROOTS and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, TINYisPOWERFUL was invited to attend/participate/present during SOCAP 2020 — a global summit centering impact economy. There were corporations, banks, foundations, high wealth individuals and then there was us; a TINY collective of collectives; artists, businesses and cultural workers. I went in with open ears — eager to soak up as much as possible — and confidence knowing art and culture will lead as we envision a way forward and through the present realities; learning from our past/histories while being bold, creative, fearless and value-centered enough to imagine and build something totally different.

I took many notes with hopes there are tools, resources and ideas that can be adapted, applied and influenced by our work on the ground.
